SFA's Board comprises members who bring with them vast experience and collective competencies of the financial sector and the social development sector. All the board members hold honorary positions.

Ms. Radhika Haribhakti, Chairperson of the Board
Ms. Radhika Haribhakti has over twenty five years of experience in financial services that include commercial and investment banking besides private banking.
A graduate of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Ms.Radhika is closely involved with issues of financial inclusion, women empowerment and social responsibility. She has served for over 12 years, including six years as Chair, on the Board of Trustees of Friends of Women's World Banking, India, a leading microfinance organisation. She has also served as a member of the National Jury for Citi Micro Entrepreneur Awards in the years 2007 and 2008. She was a trustee of JM Morgan Stanley Foundation, and was Chair of CSR Committee at DSP Merrill Lynch.

Ms. Haseena Vahanvaty, Promoter Director
Ms.Haseena Vahanvaty, co-promoter of Swadhaar FinAccess, is a development professional with over thirty years of experience, including 13 years with “The Hunger Project”, an international organisation committed to sustainable end of world hunger. Through her work, she has traveled extensively across several Indian states, spending time in villages in order to reach her project initiatives. An important constituent of the project was training to empower women elected to the local Panchayats. Her last position was General Manager for the Indian operation. She was also associated with the Society for the Education of the Crippled (Child & Adult) [SEC].

Mr.Vikas Mankar, Promoter's Nominee
Mr.Vikas Mankar has over 35 years of experience in financial, project and general management. An alumnus of IIT Mumbai and IIM Ahmedabad, Mr. Vikas is the Managing Director of a Mumbai based KPO company, which provides customized financial services to overseas clients. He is also a co-promoter of a firm which provides consultancy in business strategy and product development in the financial services industry. Prior to establishing these companies, he was Advisor to the Chairman of the Suhail and Saud Bahwan Group, one of the leading business houses in the Middle East.

Ms.Mumtaz Jaffer, Director
Ms. Mumtaz Jaffer, an entrepreneur, is the founder and owner of Cheemo Leather Boutique, Mumbai, retailers and exporters of handbags and accessories. For over four decades she has been involved in social development work, with special focus on welfare of underprivileged women and children. She has served in various capacities on the following boards and committees:

  • Regional Chairman of Aga Khan Social Welfare Board India (1978 – 1984).
  • National Chairman of Aga Khan Social Welfare Board of India (1984 – 1990).
  • Chairman of the Diamond Jubilee Trust (1993 – 1996).
Ms. Mumtaz is also the present President of Ismailia Helping Society, a women’s organizsation working for underprivileged women and children.
